21: Name something you dislike about the day you’re having. - besides having to work, we haven’t gone grocery shopping recently and I have to go out for lunch. It’s not a big deal, but I hate spending money when I shouldn’t have to. and, knowing me, I’ll probably end up eating fast food since it’s easy to get.
24: What are you sitting on right now? - well, i’m at my work cubicle, so i’m sitting on the work chair. it’s pretty comfortable and adjustable. too low to the ground though, although i think that’s the fault of whomever designed my desk.
50: What are you supposed to be doing right now? - heh, working. I just got off a phone interview with a candidate and I need to edit my notes to send him to the hiring manager with my recommendation.
52: Are you nice to everyone? - I believe so. My default mode is “polite” so I try not to antagonize people around me. I’m a bit of a movie/music/books snob, but I try not to let it show, since i mostly work with middle aged soccer moms whose tastes I find abhorrent. I don’t want to be cynical and bitter, so I just be polite (with a little subtle sarcasm).
67: Girls love it when boyfriends cry; correct? - well, I can’t make a sweeping generalization, and i don’t think Elina “loves it” when i cry, but i think she appreciates that i trust her enough to be emotional in front of her.
98: If the person you like says they like someone else, what would you say? - if I’m at just a “like” phase, i’ll probably get disappointed but end up talking about the person they like. whenever i was single, if a girl was more interested in being friends with me, i’d go into friend mode, trying to value that instead of getting attached in the wrong way. i wasn’t always successful, but i still have some female friends as a result of that type of intereaction. And they’re kinda awesome. I like seeing them happy.
